The basics of a good Disaster Recovery Plan include:

• Backups
  Website backups should be performed at regular intervals, depending on how frequently your website content changes. If your website uses a database (most do) the database must be backed up as well.  Backups can be saved online, offline or both.
• Account Information
  Gather username and passwords for all website related accounts such as web hosting, domain name, email accounts, domain registrar, FTP login. Also any 3rd party vendors such as MailChimp, Merchant accounts, etc.
• Make a Plan
  Determine who will be responsible for restoring website backups if needed.  Keep all your pertinent website account information readily accessible.
